The cottage itself offers spacious accommodation, being the largest dwelling on the end of a row of traditional miner's cottages as well as, unusually for the valley, its own terraced, private garden. The garden is home to the cottage's private hot tub with awe-inspiring views of Coniston Old Man.
Its cosy and characterful interior offers a comfortable place from which to enjoy the spectacular views encompassing the cottage. Some of the finest walking in the Lakes, including The Old Man of Coniston, can be done direct from your front door – simply lace up your boots and stride out into expansive and dramatic landscape. A walker's paradise!
