Housed in a former forge in the pretty village of Cartmel, L’Enclume holds three Michelin stars and is widely regarded as one of the best restaurants in Britain. Chef Simon Rogan’s kitchen draws on produce from its own 12-acre farm to create extraordinary tasting menus.
What to Expect
L'Enclume is Simon Rogan's restaurant in the village of Cartmel, closely linked to Our Farm. The building dates back to the early 13th century and was a family run blacksmith until the 1950s, and the original furnaces, exposed beams and thick stone walls have been kept.
The Food
Guests can choose between a lunch menu and the L'Enclume Experience Menu, with a sample menu available to view online. Seasonal At Home menus and festive menus prepared by the Simon Rogan chefs can also be enjoyed at home.
