Much of the produce comes from the hotel’s own kitchen garden and foraging in the surrounding fells. The result is cooking that’s rooted in the landscape, with each course reflecting the season. Forest Side is on Keswick Road, Grasmere (LA22 9RN). Open for dinner Wednesday to Sunday and lunch Friday to Sunday. Booking is required. Free parking on-site. On the A591 on the northern edge of Grasmere village.
