Just outside Far Sawrey, home to Beatrix Potter's Hill Top, seated above the Sawrey valley with stunning views stretching across southern Lakeland, proudly stands Sawrey Knotts. Once the country home of a Captain Dand. Built in 1861, Sawrey Knotts is now a collection of beautifully converted apartments, each with its own character and charm.
The Drawing Room is the gem of the collection. It was once the mansion's actual drawing room however today it is a romantic and luxurious getaway.
Unashamedly romantic, quirky and historic, handy for pubs, restaurants and walks, Lake District views to die for – it really has it all.
