Carpenters Cottage is a delightfully rustic mountain cottage offering easy access onto the surrounding Coniston fells. This comfortable 3 bedroomed cottage enjoys fantastic views down the Coppermines Valley towards Coniston Water. However don't be fooled by its rugged & traditional exterior, the interior of this cottage is quirky & cosy, oh and there's a private hot tub!
Next to Carpenter's Cottage is our magnificent, restored waterwheel. Proudly situated at the Mountain Cottages, this spectacular waterwheel looks all the more majestic in this dramatic mountain setting. What to Expect
Carpenters is one of four inter-connecting mountain cottages set within the spectacular Coppermines Valley near Coniston. Converted from a Victorian sawmill, it is a traditional lodge of real quality and character, ideal for couples, families and friends.

Slate floored hallways and rustic interiors give the cottage a genuine Lakeland feel, while the setting is hard to beat, surrounded by crags, rivers and waterfalls. The valley scenery and the sound of running water make this a memorable place to stay.
