With breath-taking lake views, a private balcony, and 3 bedrooms, Sun Cottage is the largest of our cottages on Thurston Bank – the highest row of cottages in Coniston's popular "Banks" area.
Perched high above Coniston Village, Sun Cottage delights its guests with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms over three floors. From its beautifully decorated interior, guests can bask in the magnificent views on offer throughout this charming stone cottage.
On entering Sun Cottage, guests are greeted with the cottage's welcoming kitchen / dining room. Beyond lies the cosy sitting room with feature log-burning stove and double doors onto the balcony and garden below. From here guests can soak up the magnificent views of Coniston Water and the hills of Grizedale Forest beyond.
Sun Cottage is ideal for couples, pairs of couples or small families looking for a comfortable cottage with fabulous views as a base of Lakeland adventures or to simply relax within and take in those glorious views.
