Built in 1850, this former coach house is now a cosy yet spacious holiday home in a delightful rural location close to Coniston Water which offers comfortable accomodation for up to 5 guests.

Towards the tip of Coniston Water, in the peaceful hamlet of Blawith, just south of Coniston, lies a charming cottage with historic links. Built in 1850 and originally a coach house for the large country house nearby. Middlefield Cottage has been carefully converted, retaining many of the original features.

Perfectly positioned, Middlefield Cottage is perfect for those looking for peace and tranquillity. The cottage enjoys delightful views across the unspoilt Crake Valley and up towards the Coniston Fells.

Lake District hot spots such as Coniston, Hawkshead and Ambleside are just a short drive away whilst the market town of Ulverston and its many amenities is also worth a visit.

The east side of Coniston Water is easily accessible and offers many hidden spots to picnic on the lake shore, launch a canoe or just simply watch the world pass by.

In essence Middlefield Cottage makes a fantastic base for couples, friends and families looking to explore the local area.
