Treetop Adventures in Grizedale Forest

Family-friendly treetop adventures set among the towering trees of Grizedale Forest. Go Ape offers high-ropes courses with rope ladders, Tarzan swings and long zip lines — it’s an exhilarating day out for adults and children alike.

What to Expect

The Treetop Adventure Plus and Treetop Challenge courses take you high into the forest canopy with a series of obstacles, swings and zip lines. Well-supervised, great fun and set in one of the Lake District’s most beautiful forests.

The Experience

Courses are designed for a range of ages and confidence levels, from the introductory Treetop Adventure to the more demanding Challenge course. Zip lines through the canopy are a highlight, and the forest setting makes it feel like a genuine adventure rather than a theme park.

Go Ape is at Grizedale Forest Visitor Centre. Sessions daily 10 am–3 pm (seasonal). Booking recommended.
