The Bridge Cottages are some the oldest buildings in the village of Coniston. Over 300 years, they have formerly been the village post office, a butcher and around the beginning of the 1900s, a well-known restaurant. Though centrally located for all the goodies Coniston has to offer, The Bridge House Cottages are pleasantly secluded and peaceful.
The Bridge Cottages: Bridge House and Bridge Suite are 2 inter-linking cottages which together comfortable accommodate up to 12 guests across 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Bridge House features a large lounge and kitchen/dining room making this property the perfect choice for those big family get-togethers and celebrations. There's plenty of room upstairs too, with 4 doubles or twins and all with their own en suite bath/shower rooms. The cottages also come the exclusive use of two hot tubs.
The Bridge Cottages are ideally situated in the centre of Coniston and just a short walk from the church, local stores, gift shops, cafe's and numerous pubs. Popular valley and mountain walks including the Old Man of Coniston & Tarn Hows can be accessed from the front door and the lake shore is less than a 15 minute stroll away.
