The house comfortably sleeps 4 people across 2 bedrooms, with the added flexibility of beds for 6, making it perfect for couples, families or small groups of friends. If you have a bigger group however, you could also take over Number 1 Dixon Ground next door which will sleep an extra 10 in 4 bedrooms, No. 3 Dixon Ground sleeps another 5 guests across 3 bedrooms, thus extending the sleeping capacity and allowing groups of up to 19 to be comfortably accommodated across 9 bedrooms. Ideal for those big family get-togethers and celebrations.

Though centrally located, with a pub within rolling distance, the Dixon Ground Cottages are pleasantly peaceful. For keen walkers there is access to the spectacular Coniston fells direct from the front door. In essence Number 2 would suit families with children of any age or couples looking to relax and enjoy the local area.
